10 Μαΐ 2012 · Level 1. 0 points. iOS 5.1.1 update on iPhone 4S : Causing Apps to Crash. In the last few days since I updated my iPhone 4S to iOS 5.1.1 (over air) several of my Apps have been crashing, and/or freezing. This includes apps such as Kayak, Twitter etc. that worked fine before the update.
I guess here is the problem in hardware strings (or identifiers): iPhone3,1 is able to be downgraded, but iPhone3,2 (revision of iPhone 4 released in September 2012 with iOS 6) isn't. Not sure if iPhone3,3 (CDMA version of iPhone 4) can be downgraded
