Most of which are not dangerous (such as in your gut). Some serotypes of E Coli produce shiga toxin which harms the infected person. One of the issues with shiga toxin is that it is heat stable (which means cooking will not destroy it).
Not to be an alarmist, but you’ll probably want to arrange for a blood test. Having antibiotics with e. Coli can increase your risk of complications. I’m surprised they gave them to you. My GP was pissed when he found out that the ER had given them to me.
