Isamu Uchiumi (内 (うち)海 (うみ)勇 (いさむ), Uchiumi Isamu) is the main protagonist of Jealousy's Book. He is also the younger brother of Senzai Uchiumi, and the youngest son of Akihito Uchiumi and Tamae Uchiumi. Isamu is fairly observant of his surroundings, always questioning everything around him.
The Mimic: Jealousy’s Book is the second book in The Mimic. It features Isamu Uchiumi as the player and the main protagonist of the story while Enzukai, the Beast of Jealousy, is the main antagonist.
Kuishinbō (食 (く)いしん坊 (ぼう), Kuishinbō) is a monster who made her debut in Jealousy's Book: Chapter II in the Meat Restaurant. Unknown for now. Kuishinbo appears as the hostile entity in the third part of Chapter II, where she wanders the Meat Restaurant searching for Isamu.
In the daytime it's hard to get his engine going, so Ritsu is often found napping in all sorts of places. He goes at his own pace and is relaxed, but can say some cutting things when he thinks quickly. His singing voice is like a sweet whisper, and his performances flow languidly. Climbing up the drawers, Ismau encounter a Jikininki eating a dead cow. You crawl away from the monster and open another room, where lots of other Jikininki are feasting on other dead animals. You sneak around, avoiding the scattered papers and shattered glass as they might alert the monsters.

Isamu (in Senzai's body) must go to sleep and play a heartbeat minigame similar to the one found in "DOORS" while Father stares at him with haunting gaze; he is portrayed as a monster with black, dark eyes, and an emotionless face.
