8 Φεβ 2012 · After a failed update of iTunes (caused by a power outage), I received the following error trying to launch iTunes: "iTunes was not installed properly. Please re-install iTunes. (Error 7)." I followed the instructions on http://support.apple.com/kb/TS3074 but it didn't work. Clearly the .Net 4 Framework had nothing to do with the problem.

23 Ιαν 2014 · It popped up with error 7 windows error 127 and said that the entry point could not be found in iTunes. I am unable to open iTunes at all now. Has anyone else encountered this problem with the new update?
4 Φεβ 2015 · Every time I try to install ITune I get an Error 7 (Windows error 193) upon completion ( and another pop up that says 'iTunes helper was not installed'). During the installation process I get a message that Apple Mobile Device Service was unable to start.

If you have a Mac with macOS Mojave 10.14 or earlier, make sure you have the latest version of iTunes. If you have a PC, make sure you have the latest version of iTunes or the Apple Devices app.
