Both Jabo, Inc. and its new incarnation as Jabo-Vitro Agate, Inc. produced mainly industrial marbles. However, from time to time the company released mostly limited runs of swirl type marbles, thanks to the skills brought to the company by McCullough, formerly of Champion Agate.
JABO, Inc. Reno, Ohio. 1987 – The present. JABO, Inc. was founded in 1987 by Joanne Argabrite and Jack Bogard. Mr. Bogard was the owner of the Bogard Company which had suffered financial setbacks while in Cairo, WV. Ms. Argabrite was the accountant who was helping him resuscitate his company.

1 Ιαν 2014 · The company ceased operations in 1992 and the machinery and name were purchased by JABO, Inc. It then became Vitro Agate Division of JABO Inc. Early Vitro Agate marbles are the brushed variety.
