JABO, Inc. was founded in 1987 by Joanne Argabrite and Jack Bogard. Mr. Bogard was the owner of the Bogard Company which had suffered financial setbacks while in Cairo, WV. Ms. Argabrite was the accountant who was helping him resuscitate his company.

This page is dedicated to the Identification of the JABO Inc. Sammy Mountain, and Dave’s Appalachian Swirl (D.A.S.) Marbles beginning with the Experimental Runs in late 2007 – Today by marble master and legend Dave McCullough.
They can be confused with some older marbles, but once you have sorted through a big bag of them, they are pretty easy to spot in the wild. The "flea bites" he mentions are seen on a lot of Jabo marbles.
These Jabo, DAS, and SMM, are going to need a book to go-with. For sure! Thanks to marble community members, for posting very cool ones, that got me started on just getting what I can while they’re out there. Short runs drive up supply and demand. Money!
