The Illinois State Fair 2024 dairy shows will be held Wednesday, August 14 through Saturday, August 17 in Springfield, IL. The show schedule is as follows: Wednesday, August 14. 8:00 a.m. – Heifers: Ayrshire and Guernsey; alternating breeds in classes.

The 2024 Illinois State Fair will run from August 8 - 18 at the Illinois State Fairgrounds - located at at 801 Sangamon Avenue. During the event, the fairgrounds will be open from 7 AM to midnight.
Daily Schedule. Thursday, August 7 - County Fair & Horse Racing Day This is the official start of the fair! Gates open at 7:00 a.m. More than 70 county fair queens and 105 fairs and expositions from across the state are represented at the fair.
