Over the past few months I’ve received a few calls from one of those correctional facility collect call services, i.e. an automated voice says “An inmate at [name of correctional facility] is calling for you [the inmate says their name]. To accept charges press one,” etc.

Some victims have reported calls billed to their phone from Correctional Billing Services (run by the company, Securus).
