Apply In-Person: To Apply for a Fishing License, the applicant has to approach the Fisheries Agency of Japan link; An application form will be provided to the applicant by the concerned officer. The applicant has to fill in all the necessary details in the application form. (Incomplete applications are not accepted)
Fishing in Japan requires a little preparation. Generally, you will need to obtain some sort of permit or license, even if it lasts for just one day. Thankfully, plenty of English-speaking tour companies operate across Japan that will take care of these details for you.
Application: Once all of these steps are completed, you can apply for a hunting license with the local government or the Japan Association of Hunters. You will need to provide many documents supporting the application, including all exam results, proof of completion of all courses, and any other required documents.
22 Φεβ 2024 · As for a fishing license? To put it simply, you pretty much don’t need one to fish in Japan. Saltwater fishing requires no license whatsoever, but there are regulations surrounding the species you’ll be targeting.
The purpose of Japan CDS is to ensure the legality of imports and deter IUU to fishing by requiring a Catch Certificate, etc. to be attached when importing Class II Aquatic Animals and Plants . However, in trying to prevent the importation of IUU catches, it is recognized that the laundering of fish by falsifying the origin and species
The Fisheries Agency (水産庁, Suisan-chō) is an agency under the Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry and Fisheries of Japan. Its headquarters are in Kasumigaseki, Chiyoda, Tokyo. [1] The agency ensures that fish caught in Japanese territory are done so under Japanese law. [2] It also sets fines for fish that are not caught under the law. [3]
