Angelo J. Leno of Andover, a retired manager for Prudential Insurance Co. and the father of ''Tonight Show'' host Jay Leno, died Wednesday in Massachusetts General Hospital in Boston. He was 83. Born in New York City, Mr. Leno worked for 38 years at Prudential.
