19 Σεπ 2023 · The main problem was that the Gradle plugin was configured to use an older JDK version. I had to change it in the below settings to use JDK-21. After changing the JDK here, then everything worked fine.
You can install the JDK by downloading the appropriate Oracle JDK MSI Enterprise Installer for your system and running it from the command line. Download jdk-21 _windows-x64_bin.msi. Open an MS-DOS prompt with Administrative permissions.
This means Oracle JDK 21 has been installed successfully on Windows operating system, so you will be able to create, develop, build and execute applications running on Java virtual machine. NOTE: If the PATH environment variable is not updated, follow this guide to update it manually.

14 Ιουλ 2023 · When I try to install with the MSI, it fails almost immediately with the message "installation failed. The wizard was interrupted before Java(TM) Se development kit 20.0.1 (64-bit) could be completely installed....."
