The hypocrisy of Jeff's message to his brother's wife about money...when Hoogland posts ridiculous sums of money to play decks on his stream. At that point its evident you are more interested in the cash than enjoying the game while making money.
It's been a while since I've thought much about Jeff, but the way I'll always remember him is that he's someone who didn't care for Legacy as a format, and rather than just not playing Legacy, he actively campaigned for Legacy to be discontinued as a supported format.
I saw Jeff Hoogland at a grocery store in Los Angeles yesterday. I told him how cool it was to meet him in person, but I didn’t want to be a douche and bother him and ask him for photos or anything. He said, “Oh, like you’re doing now?”
His brother said he puts one kid in daycare while he is at home streaming on twitch and his other kid has special needs, but he makes him take the bus to school. I've no love for the guy, but neither of these things are all that unreasonable on the face of them.
21 Σεπ 2020 · This was because I gave up direct control of that account to my loving wife who now runs it as a content focused account with the occasional post about our adorable kids. At the end of last year I did something similar with my reddit account, but this time leaving my buddy Mat with the login.
not sure why he would want to put a picture of his wife and kids up as the background for his public twitter with all the negative attention he receives
