But I saw, looking at some conversations, that there is at least some hate towards Jeff Hoogland and I would like to know why. I'm not trying to defend him, I just honestly don't know why a lot of people don't like him.
I've tried watching his stream a few times, because he is a good magic player. The conclusion I've come to is that he's a smart guy who is very good at magic...but he has the emotional constitution of a child, and he often comes off as very self-important. I also find him to be quite obnoxious.
His brother said he puts one kid in daycare while he is at home streaming on twitch and his other kid has special needs, but he makes him take the bus to school. I've no love for the guy, but neither of these things are all that unreasonable on the face of them.
