By optimizing the air/fuel ratio, ignition advance and various other parameters, the Jet Module retunes your engine for maximum performance. The use of premium fuel (91 octane or higher) is recommended for maximum results. Lower octane fuels may be used, but could result in lower performance gains.
Locate the ECM using the ECM location chart for your vehicle. Remove the ECM from it’s location and disconnect the wiring har-ness. Remove the two screws holding the access cover, located on the top of the ECM, remove the cover and then remove the stock chip.
Lower ECM (see location chart, remove mounting screws and remove ECM wiring harness. Remove the access cover located on the top of the ECM and remove the stock chip. Position the 6-PAK over the access cover, lining up the pins with the socket (be careful not to bend the pins).
Using the V-Force wiring pin out chart (pgs. 3 & 4) locate the correct wiring color and location of the TPS for your vehicle. After locating the TPS you will note that the TPS has THREE wires going to it.
