For all other Windows operating environments, PTPSync is a Windows service that can be used to synchronize the operating system clock to within a few microseconds of precision on most local networks (see Windows Time Precision) when used with a clock that supports PTP.
Windows 10 v1809 includes a PTP client. This has been enhanced in Windows 11. The support for PTP in Windows is not as functional and mature as the support in Linux. There is a Validation Guide from Microsoft, which explains in detail how to enable it.
The Meinberg PTP Client allows to synchronize the time of Microsoft Windows and Linux servers and desktop PCs by implementing a full IEEE 1588 ordinary clock stack with software- and hardware-timestamping support.
Since Windows Server 2019 and Windows 10 (v1809), a PTP client is included. A few simple references to go along with the Microsoft documentation are provided here.

1 Δεκ 2021 · After testing several adapters in device manager, I found that the option "PTP Hardware Timestamp" and "Software Timestamp" was available on I217-V and I219-V, but it was not available on I350. Is there a list of adapter that support PTP and already implemented on Windows 10 driver ?
