If you are already on island, it is suggested that you report to the DOD Family Housing Office located on Kadena Air Base within two to three days of arrival to Okinawa. To schedule an appointment, you may contact MHO at DSN 634-0582, or via email, kadenahousing.customerservice@us.af.mil, or report to the housing office (bldg. 217).

The housing units, originally built in the 1960s, were gutted down to their concrete shells during the renovation process, and now feature modern flooring, countertops, tile and bathrooms.
There are more than 6,928 on-base housing units located on seven bases and camps throughout the island of Okinawa. More information can be found on the government housing website. All housing on the island is managed by the DoD Military Family Housing Office (MFHO) located on Kadena Air Base.
