First of all, congrats on surviving the nursing school! As for RN residency, some hospitals don’t have a start date. They will hire new grads based of on staffing of the unit… whilst other have set dates of residency. My suggestion is apply at as many hospitals as you can.

The Nurse Residency Program is a 12-month transition to practice program that will support new graduate nurses as they transition to competent nurse professionals. What clinical tracks are available? All residents will be trained in our inpatient Medical Surgical and Telemetry units.
