The HealthWave and HealthConnect Kansas programs have ended, and all of those services are now provided through the KanCare health plans. KanCare health plans are required to coordinate the different types of care a consumer receives.
If you do not currently have coverage for KanCare, you can apply online. To apply for medical coverage, you must complete and submit an application. Use the guide below to get an application for you and your family.

The KanCare program is the State of Kansas' managed care program. KanCare is provided to all Medicaid and CHIP consumers. Kansas has contracted with three health plans, or managed care organizations ( MCOs ), to coordinate health care for nearly all beneficiaries.
