1 Ιαν 2022 · HealthWave is a managed care program through which two populations, HealthWave Title XIX (traditional Medicaid) and HealthWave Title XXI (State Children’s Health Insurance Program [SCHIP]) receive health care services. Approximately 75% of HealthWave participants are in Title XIX component.
The HealthWave program was developed to provide comprehensive, quality health coverage for low income children and families across the state of Kansas.

1 Μαρ 2001 · Kansas has significantly increased the number of publicly insured children. The number of children enrolled in HealthWave and Medicaid Insurance increased by 39,000 in the first 18 months of the HealthWave program. Future enrollment gains are likely to be much smaller than early in the program.
HealthWave coverage will be processed and managed by Clearinghouse staff. Families accessing other benefits besides such medical coverage, including food stamps, child care, and other medical assistance, will be handled by the appropriate local SRS office.
