Judicial Assistant Trainee is a temporary training class. Incumbents participate in a Court-approved training program designed to prepare them for advancement to the position of Judicial Assistant.
Provides on-the-job training, instruction and assistance to Judicial Assistants and other court services staff; prepares training schedules and maintains training records; notifies Judicial Assistants of changes in courtroom procedures.
With a dedicated workforce of more than 550 judicial officers and over 4,600 permanent employees, the Los Angeles Superior Court carries out its mission to serve our community by providing equal access to justice through the fair, timely and efficient resolution of all cases.

Online Live: Real-time meetings are required as scheduled. All activities are online. HyFlex: Students can choose to join each scheduled class session in person or online live. Hybrid: Some in person meetings are required as scheduled. The remaining activities are online.
