23 Αυγ 2021 · Keisha Janae Jones, 34, of Ludowici, Georgia was charged with Conspiracy to Commit a Felony (Murder), Tampering with Evidence, and Party to a Crime. Jones was arrested by the Long County Sheriff’s Office and is currently being held by the Tattnall County Jail.
6 Σεπ 2022 · Sumlin, Weekes, and two other defendants, Keisha Jones and Aerial Murphy, were indicted in April 2022 for the murder of Kicklighter, who was 88 years old. The relationship between these four individuals stems from Sumlin and Weekes, who were inmates at Smith State Prison up until Sumlin was released on parole in October 2020.
12 Μαρ 2023 · WTOC-TV reports that Nathan Weekes, Dennis Kraft and Keisha Jones were indicted last week in Long County for malice murder, felony murder, and aggravated assault in the 2021 death of Jessica Gerling. Gerling was shot dead and found in June 2021 at a Ludowici mobile home park.
15 Ιαν 2023 · August 23, 2021 – The GBI announces 3 arrests in the murder of Bobby Kicklighter: Keisha Jenae Jones – Jones is a former GDC employee who worked at Smith State Prison. Instead of being fired in 2012 after it was discovered she had an ongoing relationship with an inmate, Jones was permitted to resign.
27 Απρ 2022 · Nathan Weekes, Aerial Murphy, and Keisha Jones were all indicted one count of Malice Murder, three counts of Felony Murder, one count of Burglary in the 1st Degree, one count of Aggravated Assault, one count of Possession of a Firearm by a Convicted Felon, and Conspiracy to Commit Murder.
14 Μαρ 2023 · Nathan Weekes, Dennis Kraft and former prison employee Keisha Janae Jones all face charges of malice murder and felony murder in connection to the 2021 death of Jessica Gerling, 28. Gerling’s body was found in a vehicle parked at the Manner Mobile Home Park in June 2021.
29 Σεπ 2021 · Defendants Christopher Sumlin, Aerial Murphy and Keisha Jones sat in court as an agent for the GBI described the murder of 88 year old Bobby Kicklighter. “Mr. Kicklighter drove a white pickup truck which coincidentally is the same as the corrections officer. He was an unintended target,” said Spec. Agent Johnson.
