Ear keloids at their earliest stages appear in two distinct manners: 1. Protruding papule on the surface of ear. What does a keloid look like? Keloids are enlarged, raised scars. They can be skin-coloured, pink/red/maroon, or darker than the surrounding skin. They usually feel firm and smooth. They are shiny and hairless.

Keloids occurring on the external ear has become a special entity by itself because of their easy visibility and the trend for increasing ornamental ear piercing (Fig. 1). Earlobes are common sites for keloids following ear piercings with an incidence of approximately 2.5% [1].
