Most beginners, myself included for 15 years, think wide-angle lenses are for "getting it all in." They think that the wider the lens (or stitched panorama), the more encompassing, impressive, huge and all-enveloping will be the result.
There's no comparison here: only the Canon 11-24mm was wide enough to get it all in. It's the sharpest, too. No news here, the Canon 11-24mm is newest and best. The Canon 14mm f/2.8 L is the softest. Help me help you top. I support my growing family through this website, as crazy as it might seem.
22 Ιουν 2017 · The Sony 16-35/2.8 GM is a bigger, faster, tougher lens better for sports and action and where you would rather have a faster lens instead of optical stabilization. The Sony 12-24/4 G is special-purpose lens for when you absolutely, positively need 12mm for interiors and special effects.
6 Ιαν 2020 · It focuses super fast, zooms from wide-angle to super-telephoto, and gets close enough for macro shots. It could be the only lens you ever need for most Canon DSLRs. It's a great lens, but has one potentially serious flaw in the AF system for many users.
