Beachwalker is the only part of Kiawah's beach with life guards, restrooms, and snack bar in summer. From the park, you can walk west along Captain Sam's Spit, experiencing a truly unspoiled section of beach, to view the Kiawah River inlet between Kiawah and Seabrook.

Kiawah Beachwalker Park, located on the west end of Kiawah Island, offers ocean frontage and a river view, along with the only public beach access on beautiful Kiawah Island. The park is operated through a cooperative agreement between Kiawah Development Partners, Charleston County Council, and the Charleston County Park & Recreation Commission.
A visit to Charleston just would not be complete without a trip to the beach and Kiawah Beachwalker Park. Offering ocean frontage and a river view, it is located on the west end of Kiawah Island and offers the only public beach access on the island.
