Kiawah Beachwalker Park, located on the west end of Kiawah Island, offers ocean frontage and a river view, along with the only public beach access on beautiful Kiawah Island. The park is operated through a cooperative agreement between Kiawah Development Partners, Charleston County Council, and the Charleston County Park & Recreation Commission.
This park is located on the west end of Kiawah Island, and offers beautiful views of the ocean front along with a river view. Other amenities in the park include a boardwalk and accessible ramp, beach chair rentals, restrooms, outdoor showers, a snack bar, and picnic areas with grills.
Google Maps shows it's an easy 6 minute drive (2.9 miles). Freshfields Village is right at the traffic circle where you turn for Kiawah. Beachwalker Park beach access with picnic tables, bathrooms, and parking is right down the road.
