14 Φεβ 2008 · I noticed that the patternmaster is a shiny steel that might reflect sun and flare ducks, and the Kick's choke is not. But the patternmaster is more expensive, and ususally that means better. Has anyone tried both of them?
7 Δεκ 2012 · I've owned both chokes and I hated my Patternmaster. I have the Kicks in Xfull, Full and Mod. The Mod choke with 2 shot and BB is great at distance and the Full does great with 2 shot or smaller.
17 Ιουν 2011 · I'm looking at the patternmaster and kicks chokes for when the birds just don't want to commit and the shots a little long, which one do you guys like better and perform better. I know each choke performs different in each gun I'm just looking for a majority.
29 Ιαν 2014 · The PMs work well if you can match a load to them (any choke/ammo/gun combo I guess), but they also restrict what ammo you can use if you opt for the wad stripping models. You can get just as good patterns with a lot of cheaper chokes as well, without worrying about what ammo to buy.
Kicks High Flyer Full VS. Patternmaster Code Black Goose. So I just purchased myself a Stoeger M3500 (my first semi auto) and I'm absolutely obsessed with it! I want to get myself a good choke for goose hunting but I'm torn between Patternmaster and Kicks.
20 Δεκ 2011 · I have the Patternmaster Code Black and the Kick High Flyer. The Code Black is "duck" and the High Flyer is a Modified. Both do very well. I have noticed that there is a little less recoil with the Kicks but the Patternmaster puts a few more pellets in the circle with duck loads.
