The original (oil based) Kilz primer/sealer is very good. It effectively blocks all kinds of tough stains from bleeding through, so I use it on tough repaint jobs like cupboards and kitchen walls/ceilings. I don't see the point of using it on regular new drywall. The later sealer/primers like Kilz2 are latex based and are worthless.
