12 Σεπ 2019 · We started hiking the Timpohon Trail at 9am. The journey was 6km of uneven, sometimes rather big, steps. It’s a steep climb with occasional (little) flat patches. No switchbacks. There are rest stops along the way (with toilets without toilet paper).
6 Μαΐ 2012 · One of the highest mountain in South east Asia. Worth the climb if you are fit enough. Just remember to book earlier to avoid disappointment as the number of climbers are restricted based on the accomodations up at the Laban rata area.
10 Ιουν 2021 · It is a World Heritage site and the highest mountain in all of Borneo. To help preserve the natural beauty the government decided to cap the number of visitors to Kinabalu each day. The rules also state you cannot climb yourself, and have to do with a guide or organised tour group.
