Hud is referred to in the Baháʼí Faith as a Prophet who appeared after Noah and prior to Abraham, who exhorted the people to abandon idolatry and practice monotheism. His endeavors to save His people resulted in their "willful blindness" and His rejection.
Prophet Hud (عَلَيْهِ ٱلسَّلَامُ) spoke to his people once again, saying, "O my people, ask forgiveness of your Lord and then repent to Him. He will send [rain from] the sky upon you in showers and increase you in strength [added] to your strength.

26 Απρ 2024 · Everybody believed that Hud (AS) was crazy, mocked him, and accused him of hurting their ‘Gods’. Then, a drought struck the area and cracked the land. No drop of rain and people’s heads were on fire. Hud (AS) asked the people to believe in Allah and that he would bring rain but they laughed at him.
21 Μαρ 2023 · Description of Hud AS. Allah wanted to guide and discipline these people so He sent a prophet from among them. This prophet was Hud (PBUH), a noble man who handled this task with great resoluteness and tolerance. Ibn Jarir reported that he was Hud Ibn Shalikh, Ibn Arfakhshand, Ibn Sam, Ibn Noah (PBUH).
