31 Αυγ 2009 · Sent by God to his brethren, Hud spread the message that God is One and to worship Him alone. It was the same message spread by all the Prophets of God. Hud said to his people, “O my people, worship God, you have no other God but Him”. (Quran 11:50).
Thus, the Lord raised up Hud as a prophet for the ʿĀd people. [20] According to a tafsir of the whole Surah Hud by scholars, the 'Ad were a powerful empire that preceded the era of Abraham and Nimrod, and they were tyrannically oppressive towards other civilizations at that time. [21]
Prophet Hud (عَلَيْهِ ٱلسَّلَامُ) reminded them it was Allah (سُبْحَٰنَهُۥ وَتَعَٰلَىٰ) who gave them life and death, and it was Allah (سُبْحَٰنَهُۥ وَتَعَٰلَىٰ) alone who blessed them with their skills and, hence, was the only one deserving of their undivided and sincere worship.

They were not ignorant of the existence of Allah, nor did they refuse to worship Him. What they did refuse was to worship Allah alone. They worshiped other gods, also, including idols.
26 Απρ 2024 · Prophet Hud was sent to guide the people of ‘Ad, a tribe that worshipped idols. He called his people to worship Allah, but they refused to listen and continued their idolatrous ways. The people of ‘Ad were destroyed by a fierce wind that lasted for seven nights and eight days.
13 Ιουν 2024 · Prophet Hud عَلَيْهِ ٱلسَّلَامُ was the most pious person amongst his people. He consistently followed the right path of believing in the Oneness of Allah سُبْحَانَهُ وَتَعَالَى.
