Ajakan Nabi Hud kepada kaumnya. Nabi Hud adalah seorang yang berlapang dada, berbudi tinggi, pengasih, penyantun, sabar namun cerdas dan tegas. Beliau adalah keturunan Sam bin Nuh (cucu Nabi Nuh). Beliau diutus ketengah-tengah kaumnya untuk menegakkan kembali ajaran yang benar.
Hud (Bahasa Arab دوه , Aubir, Ubayr, Neber) (sekitar 2450-2320 SM) adalah seorang nabi yang diutus untuk Kaum ‘Ad yang tinggal di al-Ahqaf, Rubu’ al-Khali-Yaman. Hud dikenal dalam ajaran agama Islam, Yahudi dan Kristen. Dalam kitab Perjanjian Lama dikenal sebagai Eber. Namanya disebutkan sebanyak 7 kali dalam Al-Quran.
Prophet Hud (may peace be upon him) called his people to worship Allah (سُبْحَٰنَهُۥ وَتَعَٰلَىٰ) exclusively and renounce all other forms of worship. He implored his people to question the rationality of worshiping gods created using their own hands.
