Now that Kontakt 6 is out, I'm wondering how people feel about it compared to Kontakt 5. Is it pretty much the same, or have there been any significant changes? Does it affect performance differently?
I put on a pair Continental GrandSport tires this year and have ridden 557.2 miles on them with no issues. I also have a pair of Tubeless Giant Gravia on another bike that have been 1459 miles without a blowout.
Kontakt is a digital sampler. It’s very good. If you need a sampler, this one is solid. It’s especially good at handling multi-samples. There is a big user library of pre-sampled instruments. Kontrol is the name of their hardware MIDI controller range. Komplete is the name of their software plugin bundles.
According to what I've read on forums, Kontakt 4.1 offers the most comprehensive conversions, but K5 still does a reasonable job at capturing the most crucial aspects — zones, velocity ranges and key mapping.

11 Ιουλ 2017 · Continental's Contact Plus tyres are tough and portly but surprisingly fast options for everything the concrete jungle can chuck at you – provided, of course, your frame's clearances can cope. These days it seems bigger is better: the Contact Plus is offered in five 700C widths, from 28 to 47mm.
25 Σεπ 2024 · I'm using Kontakt 8 Player at the moment. Very good improvements to GUI and functionality (persistent browser, scalable interface). New toys (err, Tools) are quite inspiring and a lot of fun.
