download mods from nexus mods. the mods will have a "read me" that tells you how to install. for this game, it's simple... you just put the files the mod author tells you in the "override" folder.

Here is my list for KOTOR II, but it's easy to find equivalents for KOTOR Besides The Sith Lords Restored Content Mod ( TSLRCM ), it's mostly graphical ones. If it's not your first playthrough M4-78 Expansion is good to get.
