This formula calculates your total CO2 emissions in kilograms over the selected time period (in months). It multiplies key variables, including carbon intensity, then divides by 1,000 to convert grams to kilograms.
In our calculations, we convert kWh to kg of carbon released based on Greenhouse gas reporting: conversion factors from Department for Business, Energy and Industrial Strategy. The conversion factor is { {KWHToCO2.CO2_PER_KWH}} kg CO2 saved for each kWh produced from a carbon free source.
6 Μαρ 2024 · You can calculate CO2 per kWh by dividing the total CO2 emissions (in kilograms) from a specific energy source by the total energy produced (in kilowatt-hours). How much CO2 is produced by 1kw? Assuming you mean 1 kW-hour, the CO2 emissions are approximately 0.4 to 0.6 kg.
