Pay as You Go. Reduces the cost for drivers without FasTrak. In June 2023, the Metro Board authorized making the Pay-As-You-Go program permanent. Under this program, the cost of using the ExpressLanes without a valid FasTrak account/transponder has been reduced to $8 plus the posted toll rate.
Vehicles with two occupants pay a toll during peak hours (5am-9am; 4pm-7pm) but will have toll-free access during off-peak hours. ON THE I-110 FREEWAY: Vehicles with two or more occupants per vehicle can use the Metro ExpressLanes toll-free at all hours.
