28 Σεπ 2023 · Scammers send emails to victims asking them to call Amazon customer support numbers provided to supposedly help fix issues with their accounts, reset passwords, or provide refunds owed. However, the phone numbers within the fake Amazon emails actually connect to the scammers themselves rather than real support.

11 Μαΐ 2024 · The Amazon customer service scam starts with an unsolicited call from spoofed numbers showing “Amazon” or their support lines. Scammers use robocalls to conduct mass outreach to numbers in the hopes of catching targets off guard.
Report a suspicious phone call, message, or other scam. Follow the instructions in Report a Scam to report suspicious emails, phone calls, text messages, unsolicited packages, or gift card scams.
To report a phishing or unsolicited email to Amazon, open a new email and attach the email that you suspect is fake. Send the email to reportascam@amazon.com . Sending the suspicious email as an attachment is the best way for us to track it.
