8 Σεπ 2024 · I have a reissue G12-65 in a 1x12 combo amp and I think it is a good sounding speaker. It may be darker than a 12H-30 75Hz Heritage but it still is a good sounding speaker. I don't know if I would load a full 4x12 cab with them but I don't hear anything that would preclude me from doing that.
12 Δεκ 2016 · Perfect for pairing with the Studio JTM head, this vertical 2x12" cabinet complements the amp's style and features a pair of Celestion Creamback speakers. I have one in a 1x12 and really like it. The Creamback & WGS ET65 are probably the best all around British style speaker. Worked with every circuit ever threw at em.
26 Ιαν 2014 · Celestion G12M-65 Creamback Guitar Speaker. Similar to the G12m-25 Greenback, but with a thicker low end, these speakers push more air out of smaller cabinets for a big and bold sound.
27 Φεβ 2022 · I bought a used Celestion Heritage G12-65 off of the local Craig's List for $120 used and installed it in my Reverend Kingsnake 1x12 combo amp. The amp originally had a Jensen Neo 12-100 100 watt speaker in it.
The new "Creambacks" Celestion is making has little to do with the originals from the mid 1970s. They have reissued a speaker that never existed. Real Creambacks were regular 25 & 30 watt speakers just like the greenbacks.
Shortly after my purchase (170 € / piece), I heard proposed by copying improved WGS: the AND 65 (80 € / piece) and does what is roughly the same speaker, actually improved. Mids are slightly more transparent, a little something brighter, more airy.
