At 5,506 feet above sea level, you can reserve your tickets to this exclusive view atop the majestic Beech mountain in the heart of America’s own Appalachian Mountains. This spectacular site sits above the Land of Oz Theme Park, and has not been open to the public in over 20 years.
23 Αυγ 2024 · Purchase Land of Oz Tickets. A free shuttle bus is the most affordable way to get to Oz, right behind being swept away by a tornado. For an additional fee, you can take a Beech Mountain Resort ski lift up to the entrance. Another extra perk not included in the ticket price is the “Over the Rainbow” Overlook.
Today, The Land of Oz opens seasonally for the annual Autumn at Oz festival. Learn the history of the original 1970’s Land of Oz as you skip down the Yellow Brick Road and visit some of the park’s main attractions like the Gale Kansas Farm, the Judy Garland Memorial Overlook and the tornado cellar.
16 Ιουν 2023 · Tickets are now on sale for the Beech Mountain park that pays homage to the iconic "Wizard of Oz" film. Tickets went on sale on Friday, June 16 for select weekends in September.
The original Land of Oz Theme Park that was in operation from 1970-1980 on top of Beech Mountain, NC now re-opens for the Journey with Dorothy Tours in June and the Annual Autumn at Oz Festival in September.
