Surveying Surveyors are involved in land surveying, route surveying, construction surveying, photogrammetry, mapping, global positioning systems, geographical information systems, and other areas of property description and measurements.

Cuyamaca College Survey Program. To become a student member of San Diego CLSA you must simply be a student pursuing the career of Land Surveying or Geospatial Engineering and pay the $15 annual dues.

Certification as a Land Surveyor-in-Training (LSIT) is the first step required under California law towards becoming a licensed Professional Land Surveyor.
