27 Φεβ 2015 · I have owned Leer 100xr and ARE MX caps. Leer was on a short bed Nissan titan. I beat that truck pretty hard off road on several occasions and never had an issue. 11 Δεκ 2009 · I found multiple complaints from people saying they never received a response when contacting Leer directly or if they did it was something in the line of what happened to Jomama. I contacted them on Thursday but after doing some reading I will be surprised if I receive an answer.

27 Ιουλ 2022 · Based upon the reviews/comparisons that I have seen online, I am leaning towards the Leer 180XR. The fit and finish of the Leer appears to be a little better and the ARE appears to be more prone to leaks.
13 Ιουν 2011 · I bought a Leer three years ago for my Ram. Got the Leer Locker option and the mounts failed on my deer hunt in AZ this year. Leer wouldn't warranty it. Seems like a bad design to me. The cap has also gotten loose several times and rubbed the paint off of the top of my tailgate / truck bed. Won't be buying from them again.
5 Μαρ 2020 · I don't think you would go wrong with either a Leer or an ARE cap. The last three caps I purchased were all Leers and never had a problem. Get the front dropdown glass as already mentioned, when I got the last cap it was offered at no charge from the factory, they run specials on that on occasion.
4 Απρ 2024 · I had an ARE cap on my last truck and now have a Leer cap on my current truck due to very long lead times on ARE caps when I was in the market for a cap on my current truck (bought in April 2022). Both are decent, but the paint quality (orange peeling) is terrible on my Leer.
