17 Ιαν 2015 · The mansion first appears in The Secret of the Unicorn and Red Rackham's Treasure - Tintin's discovery of Red Rackham's treasure in the cellars (through a hole in the brick wall) is included in this build. Herge based Marlinspike Hall on parts of the french chateau Moulinsart.
13 Αυγ 2019 · The 3rd picture is my creation during a french exhibition in Versailles near Paris. The size of my model is around 38,4cm X 64cm and contain 1951 parts. If like me, your dream is to buy and build a Tintin Lego set in the future, please support my project !
I present to you my WIP MOC of Marlinspike Hall, Captain Haddocks home from Hergés wonderful Tintin books. Hergé partly based the exterior of this iconic fictional building on a very real one, the Château de Cheverny, located in Loire Valley, France.
