When I went to join my first Zoom meeting today, I found my camera not working, but instead of the camera with a line through it icon, I see the below (on Zoom and the Windows Camera app): Device Manager says the device is working properly and no new driver is available. Reboot has no effect.
12 Σεπ 2024 · If the app detects your Lenovo laptop camera and displays an image, the camera is working, and the issue is with the software you're attempting to use. You'll need to troubleshoot the program, such as Zoom or Microsoft Teams, instead of your Lenovo laptop's camera. Check for and install updates.
20 Σεπ 2015 · Solution 1: Check for a lens cover. Look for where your camera is on the laptop – usually this is above the monitor on the frame. Check if it has a lens cover and whether it is closed. These are usually a small plastic strip that slides over. Solution 2: Enable using keyboard button.
If you are using a Laptop, you may want to check the keyboard to see if you have the option to enable Camera from the keyboard. However, I would suggest you to refer the steps mentioned in the Lenovo article Webcam or camera not working or cannot turn on.
Please try to press FN+F6 or CTRL+F8, F10. or try other F key combinations. 2. Give your apps permission. If you recently updated Windows 10, you might need to give apps permission to use the camera. In newer versions of Windows 10, some apps don’t have default access to the camera.
