One of the Mt Shasta area legends is that when there is a big lenticular over the mountain, the Lemurian Mothership is visiting, hidden inside the cloud! You can see many spectacular photos of lenticular clouds in our exhibit while also learning a bit about what they are and how they form.

30 Απρ 2019 · A spectacular lenticular hovers over Mount Shasta and a wave-like cloud. A quick glance at this post from a couple years ago shows that the majority of lenticular clouds on Mount Shasta occur between October and March.
10 Ιαν 2021 · Sure enough, by late morning, it had expanded into an epic array of lenticulars scattered all over the sky south of Mount Shasta. The mountain itself was cloaked in a large dome of cloud that exhibited layers on the edges typical of a lenticular stack. It was a really spectacular display of clouds.
