30 Οκτ 2021 · After a rainy kayak trip a few years ago, a friend stopped using the new Helly Hansen 'Pro' GoreTex suit that had been purchased for the trip. Rain soaked right through it. For rain, something rubbery is more reliable, I think.
People love to shit in Level 6 (myself included) but the drysuit is pretty good. Works well, and the added padding at the elbows and knees has saved my ass a few times. IMHO it’s the best one for the price.
I'm using also using Level 6 Emperor suit, which in my opinion can't be beat for the money. The reinforced material in the knees, seat, and elbows is brilliant and helps prevent a lot of wear for anglers in particular.

7 Μαρ 2012 · seems like anybody who uses level 6 dry gear eventually has problems, and they aren't known for outstanding customer service. i have been very satisfied with goretex drytops from Kokatat and Sweet. both are very dry and comfortable.
