Lifetime licenses cover basic fishing, saltwater fishing, basic hunting, deer hunting, waterfowl hunting, turkey hunting, and the WMA access permit (Federal duck stamps are not included). A duplicate lifetime license card can be purchased online, at any vendor location or by submitting the application for a duplicate in the mail to LDWF.
Lifetime licenses are also available. The following individuals are not required to have a hunting license: Residents born before June 1, 1940 who have lived in Louisiana for 6 months. However, these individuals must have proof of age in their possession whenever hunting.

Lifetime hunting licenses include basic hunting, deer hunting, waterfowl hunting, turkey hunting, and WMA Access Permit. Lifetime licenses are available from the Baton Rouge office only. Allow three weeks processing time.
Prior to June 1, 2022, any bona fide resident of this state may obtain a lifetime hunting license. The lifetime hunting license shall be in lieu of the following recreational hunting licenses: basic hunting, big game, primitive firearms, bow hunting, the Louisiana duck license, the WMA hunting permit, and the wild turkey license.
