Learn how to reset your Linksys Smart WiFi Router password by restoring the router to its default settings.
This article will show you how to change or reset the router password using the recovery key on the router’s product label if you can’t log in to your router using your admin password. If you can log in using your Linksys cloud account, you can also change the admin password in the Linksys app or the LinksysSmartWiFi.com page.
1. Tap Manage Your Wi-Fi (iOS) or Log in (Android). 2. Tap on Router Password, enter the password, and then tap Log in. If you have forgotten your password, tap on Reset password to enter the router's recovery key, create a new password, and then tap Submit.
If you have forgotten the password or if you haven’t customized the password after setting up the router, you will be prompted to reset the password first. To do this, click on Reset password , enter the recovery key , and then click Submit .
1 Σεπ 2024 · The easiest and quickest solution to reset a Linksys router password is pressing the "Reset" button on the router. If you have a Linksys cloud account, go to the router login page, select "Forgot password," and enter your email.
Wait until your service is restored and then go into Router Settings to reset the router password and write it down. To reset the router, use a small pen or an unfolded paper clip to push and hold the Reset button on the back or bottom of the router.
—If you have used this router before, reset it to factory default settings before adding it to your EasyMesh Wi-Fi. You can do this in the Administration tab of the router’s settings or by pressing and holding the reset button on the back of the router for 10 seconds.
