16 Ιουν 2023 · Our group has conducted extensive studies on the microbial lipid production from food waste. Rhodosporidium toruloides 2.1389 can use food waste saccharified liquid as a substrate for lipid production without the addition of external nutrients (Ma et al. 2019).
1 Σεπ 2019 · Food wastes are typically lipid-rich substrates, containing around of 5.0 g/L lipids. The lipids hydrolysis products, i.e., LCFAs, include oleic acid, palmitoleic acid, and linoleic acid.
15 Δεκ 2023 · Current study investigated biodiesel production from food waste and domestic wastewater by utilizing the oleaginous yeast Rhodosporidium toruloides under non-sterile condition. The potential of biolipid production from the mixture of effluents of existing local FW treatment facilities and domestic wastewater was firstly evaluated.
15 Σεπ 2018 · The residues of food waste after removing waste cooking oils could be converted to microbial lipid by oleaginous yeasts and microbial lipid could be used as a raw material of biodiesel with waste cooking oils. This process would have positive environmental and economic benefits. However, the composition of food waste is extremely complex.
1 Απρ 2023 · In this work, general performance of food waste digestion in terms of pH, COD, H 2 production, VFAs distribution and concentration, and acidogenic metabolic pathways were analyzed. Lipids hindered the hydrolysis and acidification of food waste and caused a shift in metabolic pathways.
28 Μαρ 2020 · Oil-producing micro-organisms such as Aspergillus awamori or Aspergillus oryzae also can be used for lipid extraction from the unpalatable form of food waste. Micro-organisms are mixed with the slurry of food waste and incubated for 5–7 days at 30 ℃ to accumulate proteolytic, amylolytic enzymes.
29 Οκτ 2018 · While the lipids, carbohydrates, and proteins in food and agricultural waste streams are responsible for their high biological oxygen demand, they also have potential for modification into...
