With this feature “rollout”, it’s easier to find and contribute wheelchair accessibility information to Google Maps. That benefits everyone, from those of us using wheelchairs and parents pushing strollers to older adults with tired legs and people hauling heavy items.
Simply set your pickup location to their pickup spot and choose the Uber WAV option, where available. Request a ride, then get in touch with your driver through the app to let them know they’ll be picking up someone else.
Local companies may provide wheelchair-accessible transit options near you. Look for your state or province to see local companies offering WAV transportation. Many companies request you book a ride at least 24 hours in advance. Some may also have an enrollment process before you can ride with them.

If you live locally near one of our locations we can pick you up and drive you anywhere you need to go. However, if you live outside of our local service area we only offer service to clients needing rides of 150 Miles or more.
