At 100 eff and str it costs 25 to gain 50, but if you put even a little strength on the build, say intensify, and then use streamline, you'll be using an ability that costs 17.5 and gives 65. For me, being able to drop those safeguard mods and free up build space made spellbind a super easy choice.
Helminth Abilities. For Hunting or quick sleep kills. Rest & Rage - Allows you to catch targets without needing to tranq them. Also allows you to sleep Lich thralls and Sisters Hound thralls unless they are eximus. For Spy Missions. Perspicacity - You don't need to waste credit or resources anymore and can get this at level 3 Helminth.
Helminth uses just resources and you can override your configs with a new ability, try out what fits your playstyle best. If you want to try out something with ability strength, like eclipse from mirage, i recommend to do it with a second loki.
