The Application for Assistance may be completed online and submitted electronically on the DCFS website at www.dcfs.la.gov/CAFE. You may also apply online or pick up a paper application at one of your local community partners or DCFS office.

Generally, to qualify for SNAP, non-citizens must meet one of the following criteria: Have lived in the United States for at least 5 years. Be receiving disability-related assistance or benefits.
